Nell
Nell

On the last day of Wimbledon we were watching the tennis until it finished.
We then discovered that our garden gate was open and our 12 year old Jack Russell, Nell, was missing. My husband, myself, our daughter and her friend walked all around the neighbourhood and then drove around further afield until 2am.

On Sunday we contacted the local police stations leaving details of Nell's disappearance and on Monday rang all the local veterinary practices around our area. I visited my own Vet to put up a photo of Nell saying she was missing and picked up a flyer for 'Happy Tails' which I had seen previously.
I immediately rang Robert Kenny who came over and listened to our story. He then talked over the procedure he would take and we felt really comforted and felt a weight had been lifted off our shoulders as he sounded so positive.

Robert and Grace arrived the next morning with a sniffer dog and minder who they took through all our neighbours' gardens to ascertain if Nell had been hit by a car and had crawled away and died. They put up posters all around our area and visited pounds and made endless phone calls to contacts. On Wednesday evening they got a tip off that Nell had been seen with a tramp in the local Park. Eventually after searching the park with no result the tramp arrived back to sleep for the night and Robert and Grace were waiting and retrieved Nell. We were overjoyed when they arrived on our doorstep and can't thank them enough for their efforts. We would never have found her without them.
